General Application of Electronic Load
With the advancement of technology, traditional mechanical drives are gradually being replaced by electrical drives.
With the advancement of technology, traditional mechanical drives are gradually being replaced by electrical drives. The substantial increase in power demand has put forward higher requirements for the energy efficiency of power supplies and power-consuming devices. Electronic loads can simulate loads (electric appliances) in the real environment, and can help these products carry out rigorous tests to ensure quality and performance.
Its typical applications are as follows:
1. Home appliance manufacturers: Home appliance products generally have power supply modules, and the testing and aging of these modules require electronic loads.
2. Switching power supply manufacturers: The electronic load can test the power supply stability, load stability, output voltage adjustment and transient characteristics of the DC power supply. The TH83 series is particularly suitable for power supply testing with multiple outputs.
3. Adapter/charger manufacturers: You can use CC/CR working mode to do routine performance tests. The load can test the adjustment time and discharge time of the charger.
4. LED lamp test: by setting the conduction voltage and operating resistance of the light-emitting diode, the actual load capacity of the LED is simulated to avoid the oscillation caused by the unstable voltage and current in the conventional constant resistance mode (CR). So as to detect the true performance of the LED.
5. Uninterruptible power supply (UPS): AC power, DC power, DC load, and AC load are required for complete testing. The DC load uses a load group to test the backup battery and charger in the UPS. AC load test the entire UPS system. The load group test can verify the UPS's ability to provide the required power under different load conditions, as well as the voltage stability and the efficiency of the control system.
6. Batteries and fuel cells: Compared with resistive load groups, they can provide you with a constant load, thereby shortening the test time. For capacity testing, please use CP mode to provide consistent power consumption when the battery voltage drops over time. The electronic load can be programmed to output various load curves including fast jumps, enabling users to test the characteristic curves of battery charging and discharging cycles
7. Solar panels: an excellent solution for high-power photovoltaic testing. It can supply large current at a lower cost. Use CV mode to capture the I-V curve, or increase the voltage for current measurement.
8. Portable device: Program the electronic load to simulate various power states of the product, such as sleep mode, energy saving mode and full power mode, to perform power consumption testing.
Tonghui has three series of DC Electric Load. Please visit the following website to get detailed information or contact our sales staff.
